Marius Adolphe Villard (1843-1915) était un historien autodidacte et architecte-voyer de Valence.

Il a commencé sa carrière en tant que conducteur des Ponts et Chaussées, puis est devenu directeur des bureaux du service vicinal de la Drôme. En 1888, il a été nommé architecte-voyer de Valence. Villard a publié de nombreux articles sur l'histoire de la Drôme et de Valence, et ses travaux sont conservés à la Médiathèque publique et universitaire de Valence ainsi qu'aux Archives départementales de la Drôme.
